Guardians Worlds 5 year anniversary
As of May 31st, 2010 the site has been up for 5 years. Like to say
thanks to all the members and once again to the members that visit

Users unable to post in forums or send PMs, should work now
For all members that have been unable to post in the forums or send PM's(when doing so getting an "Invalid Session" message). This problem should be fixed. When I updated the message board, I did not configure the cookie setup, so that should be the reason members where unable to post and send PM's. If you are a member and you still having problems posting in the forums or sending PM's. Please try erasing your cookies, or well at least the cookie to this site, this should take care of the problem. Or you may have to wait until the cookie expires, which should be 1 hour... But I think IE has issues sometimes with cookies.. I have found from other PHP nuke message boards that Fire Fox seems to not have a problem, it would work even when the cookie was not setup correct.

New Video/Audio Chat added to Guardians Worlds
As I'm sure many will find out before reading this post, I have added a new video/audio chat to the board. Hope everyone enjoys it. Right now I have it set for visitors and members. If it starts becoming over run with guest or bots, I will have no choice but to make it members only. As of right now, bots have not bothered it, or at least one tried and was rejected. Also, when signing into the chat it does not use the same member list as the site, but please use the same member name on the chat as you do the site, or vs versa.. Added new IM to Guardians Worlds PLEASE READ... :D
For members of GuardiansWorlds.com, I have installed a new IM. I have not had the chance to test it out fully yet. But, from what I have tested, it's pretty sweet. :P So now, you can use the chat rooms or use the IM. To use the IM, just look in the Users Block to the left, and click on Instant Messenger link. That will bring up the IM. There is one really sweet thing about this IM. If you work or go to school at a place that does not allow yahoo or other IM's this one will work. This IM runs through my website. So, there is no software that you need to install. As long as your browser supports JAVA, you should be good to go. :mrgreen: One thing though... You and your friends have to be a member of the site... That'z a given I would guess. :P
So, for any guest wanting to use this, all you need to do is sign up as a member. This is a free site, so there is no charge of any kind. Hope everyone enjoys this new feature.

More storage space for GuardiansWorlds.com :D
Great news. :)� Lunarpages has increased the storage room from I think it was 4 or 5 GB storage to 35GB. :)� This is great news for GuardiansWorlds.com :D� This will allow me to add more stuff to the website. :D� Just wanted to share the info. :)�

Added Vistor Mapping System to Modules block :D
This is only for members only. Now members can see where guest are connecting from, bots are connecting from, and other members. It is not exact for some, so if it's not exact, you can click on the "My Location" and then you can zoom in and set where you are located.  |

Added an event calendar to GuardiansWorlds
Letting everyone know that I have added a event calendar to the site. Also, members feel free to add events, I will have to approve the event. Also, remember that members are welcome to summit videos also. As for the calendar, I will post not only events, but if the servers are going to be down etc. etc. So please keep a look at the calendar, if there is a red dot, that means no events and if there is a green dot on the date, then there is an event for that day. :)

Server stats and player ranks have been changed.
Hello, I'm sure some of you can tell that the ranks are no longer in view. I changed the coding of the server stats and player ranks from HTML to PHP. It took a little time, but all is working now. The server stats are still in view, however the player ranks are now located in the modules list to the left. :-)

Added update for video streaming. :)
Letting everyone know that I have updated the video streaming module. It now supports remote link, so if you don't feel like uploading the video, and it's on another site. Just add the link and the video will use that websites bandwidth. So as long as the other website does not have hotlink protection, the video will run with no problem, unless they move or delete the video. The update now allows the following file types to be used. avi, .mpg, .mpeg, .flv, .wmv, .mov, .ra, .rv, .rm, .rpm, .ram however I will mainly just use .wmv since most people can video those. The extra file types will give more options for videos you can remote link. However if you do have another form of video other than .wmv, please go ahead and upload it, I will encode it to wmv. Enjoy.

Server Stats on Server spy gone due to IP Change... :(
Letting everyone know, that all my server stats on server spy look to be gone. I'm guessing when my IP changed that one number, it took it as a whole new server, so, it looks like all the stats and the server stats are now starting fresh, sucks because it was great to look at the past months and see how many people played on the servers. Ohh well, I'm hoping my ISP had a good reason for the IP change, maybe they finally speed the connection up. I guess we'll see. Thanks, Guardian

Just letting everyone know that if you have had problems accessing GuardiansWorlds.com, it's where I have been updating it. I ran into some problems so it was down more than I wanted it to be. But, I have everything running now, let me know if you find an area that is not working correct. I should have the video stream coming really soon. I'm still working on that. Thanks, Guardian

MP3 Player for Members of Guardians Worlds :-D
More great stuff for members of Guardians Worlds. :-) I added a MP3 player, it's to the left, above the modules block. :-) Right now I have some rock/metal songs in a playlist and some popular songs in a playlist. You can click on the remote link of the MP3 block so you can listen to the music as you surf. :-) It pops up a mini player so if it does not pop up you may have to turn off your pop blocker. :-) Enjoy. Added a Members of Guardians Worlds MySpace Block
For any member of Guardians Worlds. If you have a myspace.com account and would like me to add you to the block I have created (which is on the left at the bottom of the left blocks right now). Just give me your URL that is listed in your myspace home area. This is only viewable by members of Guardians Worlds like the Xfire listings. Also again, if you have Xfire let me know and I will add you to the Xfire Members list. :-) Also, for members please do not forget that I have a Picture Gallery for members also on my website. It's the grapic at the top of the page that stats Pics Of Guardians Worlds, just click it and you can view my car pics along with other pics members post. You will have to register on the gallery also since I have it seperate from my website users info, when you register you will have space to place pics also. :-) Thanks, Guardian
